How hard is it to make a non convertible a convertible......... or even T TOP.... obviouslyt it costs money, but has anyone done it?
T Top was done but i dont think it was completed
and it would be cheaper to sell your car and buy a convertable than to make it into a convertable
well to make a convertible..it'd prob cost a @!#$ load of cash. unless you bought a vga for peanuts and transferd it all over. but then again it would prob be easier to fix up the vga then to convert.now for t-tops...it can be done with a lot more ease than converting to a convertible..but the t-tops won't be 100% secured/safe. There just bound to fly off/crack(if there glass). I've been in a couple 3rd gen convertible Z24's and you can actually see the cowl moving, so imagine cutting a small section out of the roof..that car is gonna twist like crazy...for complete show i'd say no problem, otherwise forget the whole idea..just buy a origanl convertible. Some may argue but thats my 2cents
