I have a 96 cavy 2dr 2.2L and I want to replace stock bumpers with Z24 bumpers. Is it just as easy as taking them off and putting the new ones on? Or is there something I'm missing? Do like the bumper reinforcements need to be replaced or what..? Please help. Thanks.
fender liners are different...thats all

^ Exactly. You would need to use the Z24 fender liners as well, so no, they don't just bolt on. This is only true for the 95-99 Z24 bumper, the 2000+ swap is the same, fenderliners and all.

true. i figured since she has a 96, she was just gonna swap out w/ the 95-99 bumpers

not entirely true. you don't NEED fender liners from a Z24. you can just trim the base model ones to fit the Z24 bumper. thats what i did.

ok i imagine some of you know this, but thats from Red VS Blue, me and my friend dan used to tell people that their blinker fluid was low all the time, it was hilarious, and cavy girl, i'm sorry that you needed a straight answer, but if you saw that episode of Red VS. Blue you should at least get a giggle out of it
i know i did!
ps remember to post pics when it's done!

i am prety sure there are 3 liners, 2 small ones on each end and a longer one in the middle. You will most likley have to take the 2 small ones off and trim the cennter one, they are riveted on so i dont know how you would switch em out. Just toss on the new bumper and see where it hits then trim from there.
i used the 2.2 fender liner on my Z bumper and it works like a charm!
