Is it better to get your kit painted while being on the car or off the car? As far as price and quality goes?

i prefer off the car, this way they can get to all the spots and its easy to work w/
Yup what he said.
Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.
Depends. I painted most stuff off the car I did, but the rear bumper was a tight fit, so that was cut in with paint and installed first. Easier to get all areas painted off the car. As long as you are carefull and don't really twist the part the paint should be fine. Urethane paint of today is somewhat flexible. Make sure you prefit everything first though, so there are no surprises when you go to install. Fiberglass parts often fit poorly if thats what you have. And if it is just the kit that is being painted, probably better off so you dont have to tape and mask around everything.

Autobody/ paint
Just be careful putting the parts back on you don't want to scratch your nice new paint job all up. Otherwise it would be fine to paintoff the car, even better.

put the kit on.. and get it fitted.. especially if its fiberglass drill your holes ect.. then take it off and paint if possible this way u dont have to worry about scratching the new paint when putting it back on
Just be carefull if your painting a eurothane kit because you can fit the kit over and over again to assure fitment and go to paint it on a hot day and the heat can warp the eurothane bumper and then you will end up with a perfectly painted bumper that does not fit your car.........LOL just be carefull.
