Well, I got myself a set about a week ago, and come to find out last night, that these @!#$s get so hot, that its melting the stock harness. On the box that the bulbs come in it says "Nokya wiring harness suggested". Well no @!#$....
So basically i have to play around with the harness to get my headlights on everytime I wanna drive at night. So you can imagin the pain in the ass it is to pop the hood, and jiggle around some wires before I can drive.
Anyone else have problems like this?
Soon your gonna melt the harness to the point of either a fire or them melting the headlight. I don't mean to sound like a dick here but you either fix it the right way or get new bulbs.

get silverstars, their better anyway
You have a Stage II or higher, the stock harness can only support a stage I Nokya bulb. I have Nokya stage I's and they suck imo. They look great from the outside, but they're terrible to see with at night.
I'd recommend either going with a different brand or get a new harness.. you definately don't want to let that continue...
Well yea...i plan on fixing it. Thats the whole point of this thread. I was asking to see if you guys have had the same issue. And what did you do to fix it?
I've done a search on the Nokya harness and couldn't find @!#$. I'll get that, if thats what it takes....I agree also, that the light output isn't that great...but I can live with it. I'm not sure either what stage it is...it might be stage 2. But it says 7000K on the box...

I have the stage I bulbs as well, and i agree that they suck majorly, but they look pretty sweet.

the money you spend on the harness you can probably buy the silverstars with and they are the best bulbs i ever bought.
The way they're put together is the reason I switched out the nokyas I had. It looked like too much of a pain. I got PIAA bulbs and they're brght as hell I love them. Look for any bulbs that say stuff like 100 watt light on 55 watts of power that way you don't smoke your harness. Oh and btw you do know that you can smoke the headlight switch it you
try and pull tooo much current thru it. Be carefull some of these bulbs can screw you over in the long run.
Find the PIAA bulbs if you can they're awesome they cost more then silverstars but they smoke them also. Silverstars are nothing comparied to them. And yes I have had Silverstars before the PIAA bulbs are waaay better and brigher.

Silverstars are WAY too expensive IMO. I use Farenheit.

7000k is just the color temperature, thats a blue with some white. The box will say Stage I or Stage II on it... by the sounds of it, you have a Stage II.
hmm, are the PIAA ones blue??? i love the color of my headlights, but they blow ass in the night time, i have the nokya 7000 st2 bulbs also,
Ha this is where the PIAAs rule and silverstars don't ! You can order them in different colors ! White , blue, purple, red, green, orenge ( mine
) and yellow. I think thats all.
Anyway some colors are hard to get. I waited almost a month for mine ti come in form Japan. You also may want to avoid red as this may get you a ticket.

i dont see the huge fascination over blue headlights

I had the nokya's, then silver stars, now I fixed it all with HID's
2012 HD VRSCF
2010 Ford Explorer
2006 Ford Ranger
2004 Chevy Cavalier
Bagged thats why I have orenge ones. I don't like to be like everyone else.

Because, imo, blue/white headlights look better than yellow stock ones, thats why I went with the Nokya's... also my secondary color scheme for my car is blue
i have the nokya yellow bulbs, and i;ve had no problems so far
i love they way they look
but i did get pulled over once for havin em, the cop was a douche
Hmm... my harness looks fine, bulb slides in and out. Do Z24's come with higher wattage headlights? I also got the Nokya II bulbs....
