I have a 97 Sunfire SE. What do you guys think would look best?
1) Keep the Sunfire SE front
2) Sunfire GT front bumper
3) 95-99 Cav front
4) 00-02 Cav front
5) 03+ Cav front

The Cavfire conversion looks best 00-02 IMO. Go for it, man! It'll fit.

i 1st went with the 95-99 lights...but now i switched to the 00-02 'black headlights" with a trd gmx fromt bumper. looks really hawt
if you wnna stay with a stock fron't ig go 03-05 z24/ztype front end.
1995-99 front. i have a 98 se and just finished my conversion. used a z24 bumper cover and 99 head lights. if you dont have a donor car make sure you get all the braces and inner fender liner so you dont have to make repeat trips to the junkyard like i did.
here is what i would do......
00-02 ls sport/ z24 front
sunfire gt sides
sunfire gt rear

I was thinking the 00-02 ls sport also, either that or the 95-99. So let me get this straight...I need hood, fenders, front bumper cover, headlights, headlight wiring harnesses, inner fender liners. What do you mean by braces? Thanks.

theres a brace on each side that holds the front of the fender out. the sunfire one is different than the cav.
^^^ to do the conversion you need to have a cavy hood, lights, bumper, and fenders
no need for wiring harness.

100% correct, he said he was leaning toward ls sport soo but you are right.
95-99 cav - you will need harness (or just rewire)
00+ cav - no need for harness
95-02 sf gt - no need for harness
03+ sf - you will need harness (or just rewire)

Can I use the hood from any year, or do I have to stick with 00-02? Same question for the fenders. Thanks

95-02 hood is the same
you have to use 00-05 fenders with 00-02 heads and corners, 95-99 with 95-99 stuff.

im biased, i like the 95-99 GT front over the SE, and later Fires, or a 00-02 Z24, or LS Sport (with the lip). To match the rest of the car though, i'd get the sideskirts and rear bumper if you go with the GT look, not sure what would look good with the 00-02 Z front though.
It took me forever to decide which front I wanted to swap to....I ended up picking
the 03+ Sunfire front and rear for my 99 fire.
well i was just making easier for him seeing as he has to fenders for a cav you might as well get the easier ones. they are gonna be about the same price anyways
