I used Goo Gone from Wal-Mart and a small rag including a flat head screwdriver...
Put it in there and worked my way around...let the Goo Gone settle under the bowtie
and just slowly pulled it off the tailight...I didnt want to use the fishing line method...
Goodluck...

Pretty much want Streaker posted. I used a blow dryer and heated it up the used a screwdriver to pull up one side then used my hand to pull it off. After that use some GooGone to remove any remaining adhesive.

Once you remove the emblem you will have a good size hole left where youe trunk lock is.

I used dental floss instead of fishing line. just bring lots of extra out with you because it will break after a while so you will need a new piece. Goo gone worked to soften the left over sticky junk afterward.
