I'm looking for a 00-02 Headlight wiring harness for a headlight conversion, and I'm not really that knowledgable on the subject. I saw this on ebay but I think it is just a upgrade kit not the whole thing(
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1,1&item=7923636986&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT). Would this work?, and if not where would I go to get one without breaking the bank. Does anyone have one they are wanting to sell? Any help would be great, thanks!

i'm gonna say no and someone correct but those are to give your already 9007 bulbs the " hid look "

what i would do is call local junk yards and get a wiring harness off a 95-02 sunfire and use that with the 00-02 headlights
but correct me if i'm wrong
tell the junkyard you want the whole headlight wireing harness.
i dont have the exact instructions but cant you alter the oem 95-99 harness to work?
Im gonna tell you what i just did yesterday. I went to a junkyard and told them i wanted a 95-99 SUNFIRE headlight harness.. 00+ wont work because the connector is different. Now i went out and found a car with the harness and if u get lucky like me and found a sunfire with no suspension or engine it was really easy to get to. Look along the metal bumper and you'll see all the wiring for the headlights and turn signals(and even horn connected to it). take that out and u'll have like plastic rivets along the bumper holding like a loom of wires and just follow those up underneath the battery tray.. there is a pretty nice size connector under there.. I just cut the wires so i could take the whole connector but u can just simply unplug the connector and unbolt a ground wire or 2 and just pull it all out. Now if the bumper and windshield fluid resivor(sp) is still attached you will have to remove that to get the connector completely out. Now you just have to take your harness out by doing the same thing and the sunfire connector should plug right in.. giving you 2 9007 pigtails, 2 3157 pigtails, 2 194 pigtails, horn connector. Now today i plan to install my sunfire harness so i will be able to tell you for 100% sure that it will plug right in tonight.
Pic of the harness i got from the junkyard, they only charged me $15
Now also im doing a write up so i will have pics of exactly where the connector is and all that fun stuff. If you have any questions feel free to get ahold of me.. i've had this plan for over 6months and its finally getting done so odds are i've had the same questions and will know your answers..
thats perfect! thanks for the reply, I might have to hit you up in a couple of weeks when I start on this. And you can alter the 95-99 headlights to work, but I've heard of people having problems with it in the long run. The last thing I want is my headlights to go out when I'm at school and no way to fix it. Just rather be safe then sorry

Yeah, off to the junk yard I go. Believe it or not but I am actually working on Saturday and Sunday, and I head back to school on Monday morning. But next weekend I'm free. Let me know if you want to go next weekend.
