A front clip for a 03-05 cavalier that is pretty close to stock looking? I have very plain sideskirts on the car right now, a 03+ LS front bumper cover would look pretty good, but, I cant find a good deal on one. junkyards want $200+ for one in good condition, online cheapest i found was 200 bucks for a primered new front ls bumper.
The bumper i have on now looked good, open mouth, i modified it (ie took a cutoff wheel to the grills) after I got in a little crunch and had to patch it up and repaint it anyway, and it looked great for a year...but now the urethane bumper repair epoxy i used is cracking out and looks bad.
I guess I might have to shell out the cash for a LS front clip, figured i would ask here first, see if maybe there is a aftermarket fiberglass front clip that isnt too radical,it cant sit too low or be too extreme or it will look out of place with the mild sideskirts and stock rear clip.
how about the RK Sport lip kit? you can get just the front from Karo.
well, i suppose that would work, but i would still need a front bumber to go with the lip. the bumper i cerrently have is starting to turn into a mess...20 hours of work with urethane epoxy to get rid of the grill and smooth it off like there wasnt a grill with a chevy emblem there to begin with was all for nothing. its cracking out and seperating from the rest of the urethane bumper "sigh".
so, my focus ATM is finding a stock looking cheap aftermarket bumper since the junkyards are too expensive and cheapest i have seen online was 200 bucks for a stock primered bumper(for a new one, im not a big used merchandise guy when it comes to visual parts).
so, if you can think of a stockish looking cheap (most likely fiberglass) front bumper, that would be great!
