Ask Weas, I know he had a couple awhile back. They were only made for Canada, so they're rather rare in the J-Body world...
I would love to get my hands on those tails...
lol
only thing dirrent from the 2003's is the center piece on the trunk
*************Yea i spell liek wrong get over it*****************
** If i write in caps its cause im @ work and i can only write in caps cause the keyboard is a retarded CAPS only keyboard.**
Damn... He's right, how lame is that. Thanks again GM, I thought they had something similar to the 03+ coupe tailend...
Wonder if I could get a coupe rear to fit a sedan???

no, I was being serious, I love those tails. I would really love to find em for sale somewhere cheap
The 03 Sunfire coupe rear is very different than the sedan. On the coupes the panel across the trunk is much larger and if I'm right the outter tails are much taller.
^^ the sunfire sedan tails will bolt right up to a cav coupe/sedan tails. since he has a cav, there should be zero problems bolting that rear end on, all he needs is lights, and bumper, the trunk is the same
I would like the look of the Sunfire Coupe 2003+ rear, but I guess that just seems like too much work.

I HAVE a Cavalier that needs a new rearend... that's why I was thinking about it.
I'd love to do a coupe rear, but from what I've heard it's a PITA to do and the bodylines on the quarter panels won't line up right.
Oh well... rebuild to stock it'll be. Then on with the shaved trunk and Invader rear bumper.

If the shop is replacing the rear 1/4 panels, trunk lid, and bumper, then I would imagine a sunfire rear is as easy as a cavalier rear. The only part that makes it difficult is the rear 1/4 panels...
Anyone have the part # for this?
No luck on GMPartsDirect...
nope, didn't find anything.

the rear bumper is the same as the 00-02 sunfire sedan.

Canadian salvage yards. specifically in Ontario. they are stacked up here.

if im not mistaken...they were eventually sold in the US. not alot of them, but i have seen a few here in NY
. granted we're close to the border, but ive seent hem with non-metric clusters here in NY. maybe they just swapped the clusters and sold em in the US as a "rare" sunfire, lol.
Ive only seen one of these in person here in the Carolinas, and I'm pretty sure it was a canadian on vacation here or something cause I didnt recognize the license plate design. I'd really like to get ahold of the part # for the rear bezel.
those rears are canada only trust me
