how much would it cost approx to get my cavy tinted for all 5 windows?
It varies by state and location. I got all my widows done @ 5% for 170.00 in NC. It's best to shop around in your local areas and get quotes in writing.
I got mine done at 15% for $145, but thats in Nebraska
its all different. a kid i went to school w/ got his mazda tinted down in florida for spring break, cost him 80 bucks for all 5 windows w/ 5% tint. up here in the philly area that would run like 200 bucks
Do your own..............they have pre cut kits...it's the cheapest way to do it...or about 150-170......depends on the season ...................good luck
if you have a 3rd brake light good luck it a pain in the ass.
I got mine done for $90.00 with 40% tint
Mine was around $175.00 for all 5 windows, plus the black vinyl band over the dotted stuff on the back window, plus windshield tint band. Done by one of the top shops in the area using 3M tint. I was pleased.

Good luck on the rear window, and the dot matrix on the top.
If you do it yourself, IMO do only the sides, and leave the back window to the pros. I good tinter will do the back in one piece, and will tint over the dot matrix with no problems.
If you do it yourself, IMO at least goto a tint shop and buy decent tint. No reason to waste your money on dye based tint that will turn purple with age. Use metallic based tint.
I consider $200 to be the very top price to pay for a complete tint job, including the windshield strip.
Insist on lifetime warranty.
what the hell is the dot matrix and what do you have to do special for the third brake light?
$180 for 5% in the back 3 and 35% in the front 2 in IOWA

the dot matrix is on the top of your rear window (all them little bumps) its a pain to tint over them.
not sure about the third brake light.
it costs $250 here in east central PA and they dont even do the dot matrix because they dont know how lol
$150, 35% tint all around, skipped dot matrix and no vinyl to cover it (which I plan to remedy soon), lifetime warranty.

THE REAR WINDSHIELD IS NOT THAT HARD I CAN DO IT IN ONE PIECE. AND ALSO REGARDING THE THIRD BRAKE LIGHT THE WHOLE BACK DASH PAD WILL HAVE TO COME OFF IN ORDER TO DO IT RIGHT.!!! KAOTIK... go to the top, look at the body work sticky.. Its the same principal i just got mine tinted for like 170 including vinyl on the dot matrix (comes out A LOT nicer then trying to tint them) and a strip across the window
In the winter months it would of ran about 99.00 for that it damn near doubles out here in the desert when it hits summer.
Anyway it should be between 100-180, i wouldnt pay anymore then that or you can go to LA and get it for like 50.00 everything is cheaper out there
shops dont usually charge by the % so thats pointless to go by its the labor they charge for.

The shops around here counted 7 windows on my sedan....
and $200... they said the 1/4 windows on the passenger door count as full windows.. ghey!!
20% tint in nebraska for just over $100....professionally done. Solar Guard tint, lifetime warranty and all too.
