I have a broken side mirror on a 2000 z24 convertible and so far i've found that gm used a different part numbered mirror on the converts compared to the 2dr and 4dr cavs. Does anybody know of any aftermarket mirrors that would be a bolt on replacement with out having to modify too much stuff.

They are different... I can confirm that.
I'm using Toyota Cavalier sedan mirrors... they seem to fit pretty well, close enough to the stock lines to not look silly.... BUT you have to drill new bolt holes for them as the holes don't line up.
You might be able to re-drill holes for other stock mirrors to fit.... I'm not 100% sure, as I've never tried to fit coupe or regular sedan mirrors on my car.
Thanks Lenko thats what ive been finding out.
I was just wondering because i like the look of the aftermarket ones and a stock gm one is outrageous price.

If you have a buddy with a coupe or sedan... see if you can borrow a mirror, how far the holes are off. If you can find a set you like, no reason why you couldn't drill the holes to make it work.
