i am thinking about doing a front end swap to a 03 sunfire. I am just cerise as to what i actuactually need. AND YES!!! I READ MANTA Z's STICKY!!!

do i need a 03 sunfire crush guard? Ive seen some pictures of peoples progress and they have the crush guard off ??

i know hood latches differ ... but is it the upper or the lower part of the latch? that should be it just 2 simple questions i would like to find out to see if i want to deal with the hassle or not.

yes you need the crush guard and both parts or the latch are different

Ok, as for crushguard.. If ur going to a fiberglass body kit.. mise just forget the crushguard.. hell when i put my 00 stock Z front i didnt even put it in.. not to important.. but if u want u can snag a sunfire one or try cutting ur to work..

Latch.. im not 100% sure but im thinking it both pieces.. i know its atleas teh bottom part..

the crush guard helped alot in supporting my bomex fiberglass bumper...fit perfectly with no cutting...just attached it with like half a tube of liquid nails...doesn't budge one bit
