Roof scoop, ghey?

This would be about 10 inches long and an inch or inch and a half high, something not really extreme but something to increase the aggressive look of the car, i think the really big ones are gay but the small ones are pretty cool, just looking for the .org's opinion...

heres a pic of how the car looks now, roof scoop it or not

Post in image manipulation and see if someone will put it on for you. See if you like it after that. As long as it wasn't crazy big, I think it would look nice.

seen em on a few cars and they look pretty good imo, as long as its not a stick on, or too tall, if i didn't have a sunroof id rock one.

Heres a quick color blend n' chop, not really feeling it though if its the style you want. They got more blended versions but I cant get a decent product pic.

I don't like the look of it the more I stare at it, just doesnt fit with j-body lines. If you can airbrush one by hand any better then by all means help ahfunaki, i only spent like 3 minutes on that one >>>>moved to image manip section

I personally don't like them at all... but if you really like it, that is all that matters.

no..hood scoops that are not functional imo are tacky. Just save and get a nice hood....

i have been pondering on this as well, and i think i will end up doing this, if i ever find the right looking scoop. but like said above, if you like it, dont worry about everyone else, do it. thats what makes cars stand out.

doesn't matter how good it looks, if its not on rally, touring, or similar race car, its ghey..... and before any of you manages to go there, YES its gayer than driving a beetle

i've noticed that there arent any hood scoops on any of the j-bodys, thats kinda why i'm curious about this whole thing, i can be a little different from everybody else, and it does give the car a unique look. either way, the scoop should be done today and i'll put it on the car and snap some pics, see what everybody thinks.

There are a couple of j's out there with roof scoops. Some of them pull it off, some don't.

thats what i talked about to my friend, cause i was wondering how the hell that was going to stay on and not get ripped off as soon as a good gust of wind hits it. he said to maybe just make it look like it's functional, but just make it like an inch or two deep and mesh the front of it.
