does anybody have any pics of their shock lift supports for the hood open and closed with some close ups? I am thinking about doing it but heard that they kinda push the hood up a little when it is closed from the force of the shock, and i just want to see what it looks like. I think i am thinking way to hard about this install and just cant quite figure out where to place them I have both short about 8 inches and long about 16 inches not sure which ones to use.
Any feedback is greatly appreciated thanx
I have the ones from Redline Tuning.
Closed, the hood sits flush, just like stock.

I've got to get me those! The factory prop rod is just in the way when working under the hood. I believe A+ has a kit, or at least "had" a kit. Contact Jason and see if he still has any, save yourself the R&D.
Here's the site

Drill 4 holes each side (careful on the hood or you'll punch through the upper skin), use the included pop rivets, enjoy. Takes an hour tops (I took a break in between sides for a tasty beverage). Detailed instructions should be included, if not, they have the PDF versions on their site (with pictures and measurements)
Doesn't work well w/ fiberglass hoods though
I do still carry the Redline Tuning kits... and have a few j-body kits in stock as well. The retail pricing did go up some, so we had to do the same. They're still great kits though. Contact me if interested. THANKS!

You might need to use a metal support behind the "hood frame"...
Main worry I would have is the 'glass tearing out.
screw it then ill live wit the prop, the escort on the other hand id like to do
