Least low body kit?

I've been toying with the idea of getting a body kit in the spring time.

I really love the Type-J and Wings West kits, but it seems like they may be too low for a dd.

My Cav is my dd, and it is driven through Canadian winters. The car will have a eibach pro-kit (1.4" drop) over the winter, so it will sit alittle more low than stock, but still needs to be able to clear snowy roads.

I wanting to know the ground clearance of a kit (any kit/lip) so that I can decide if it will work. If someone can post the distance between the bottom of their bumper to the pavement. As well if you could list any drop if you have. That way I can find out how high the kit would sit on the pro-kit.

Can anyone tell me how low the Type-J would be?

I really love the look of the type-j, but I think it may be too low, and the front lip might stick out too far on it...

Just get the type-j and slam it. Then during the winter you could make some money plowing snow. J/k

The type j isn't that low. I dd mine all year round. I drove it with prob a 2-3 inch drop in the winter and slammed all summer. SO jsut do it and don't worry your driving skills will adapt real fast as you find out what you can and can't do and how you have to get in and outta places.

Type j isnt to bad like cavie freak said. My buddy has it with his prokit and 19s.. once photobucket maintance allows me to get into photobucket ill get u a pic of that.

like said Big mouth is as low if not a lil higher then 02 ls sport front.. I'd say just get whatever kit u want and put the stock stuff on for winter.. u might think of it as a big hassle.. but think.. ull have ur body kit on for what 6-8months of the year.. and all u have to do is spend ONE day swapping body parts.. doesnt sound like anything major to me.. its not like ud be swapping every month or sumthing..

the bigmouth bumper on the sides is the same as the ls sport lip and the front middle is half an inch higher, i measured it awhile back. my avenger seems to be considerably lower and the type j sits about the same as my avenger if not lower, get whatever kit you want and either take it off in the winter or get a couple hundred dollar beater for the winter so there are no hassles

Wow, there is alot of ground clearance in that pic. Thanks, that helps alot!

It looks like I would have no problem with either.

I live in an apartment, with underground parking. So I don't have any place to store the body kit or stock bumpers when it's changed, otherwise I would just swap them back and forth.

The ramps going down (and up) and extreamly steap, and it has speed-bumps in the parkade, so I need a good amount of ground clearance to get in. Plus with driving in winter, I would need the groundclearance aswell.
