I dont have a picture, but what do you think of mounting the antenna on the front pillar(between windshiled and door)? I think some older Hondas (80's-90's) had them monuted there? I am just looking for a new place, other then the rear fender.

my buddies 99 civic has it on the door, even retractable.. its hilarious if he turns on teh radio watching him hang his arm out his window pulling out the antenna. Ive thought bout relocating it there too, shouldnt look to bad but u might wanan amke sure it can be executed without alot of modification needed to the inner of the door.

You know they make a kit for roof mounting right? didnt know if u knew about that or if u just dont like it on the roof.
