the reason why i cant change muy headlight bulbs is because i dont know how to remove this thing in the pic or what to use to remove it i tried with a flat scredriver but it wot come off i need to remove that thing so i cant have access to the bolt that is behind it
ah, i love those things, just take some pliars or a flat screwdriver and center circle part straight up. You will see how it works from there.
excuse me, that should say "and pull the center circle part straight up".
take a flat head, get it under the head and pull up and they will pop out. once its off, just leave it off. its not needed
i find taking them out with a hammer like u would a nail works wonders
There about 8 of them, I am not postive, if you want to take the whole thing out. I just used a pair of pliers and pulled up.

they make a special tool to take those plastic retainers out.
it kinda like a fork... has to fingers in the basic shape like the retainers are... its bent a little bit to get leverage. bout $10 where i found mine. they work awesome.
but lol then again... pliers work good to. and if ur careful... side cutters.

x2 i have that tool and it keeps you from destroying the clips. I did it a few times with the screw driver and I should probably replace them now, they are pretty mangled.

Stripped, do you realize how hideous the engine bay is without that radiator cover? I don't think it looks good anyway.... but like everyone says, you pry out the center piece not the whole thing, once it comes out about half an inch or so, the whole thing pops off.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.

DUDE JUST USE A FORK. THATS WHAT I DO AND MY PARENTS GET PISSED OFF CUZ ALL OF A SUDDEN THEY ARE EATING WITH A BENT UP FORK!! HAHA. IF ITS A 4 PRONG FORK GET THE CLIP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE 2 MIDDLE PRONGS AND POP IT UP. KINDA LIKE PULLING A NAIL WITH A HAMMER. THEY DONT BREAK ATLEAST MINE HAVENT AND I DO IT ALL THE TIME. JUST MAKE SURE YOU GET IT ON THE FLAT OF THE CLIP IT WILL BE ALOT EASIER. THATS JUST MY 2 CENTS THO.
I used a pair of wire cutters and use just enought pressure to get under the pin so I can pull it up very carefully. I have not cut one of the pins from using them yet.

I believe they are called plastic rivets. They come in all different diameters at Pepboys, AutoZone, Advance Auto Parts, etc.
yeah what is the big deal even if you break the clips..just go to advance auto or pepboys and buy a pack of 10 of them for $2. dollars lol
i like to use a sledge hammer, usually that helps once you bang on it a couple times
an axe would work too, just gotta be careful not to hit the car....aim for your right foot

ive busted so many of thos clips i cant even count how many, but i went out and bought ones that look like the stock ones but u can use a star screwdriver to take em out which makes taking the rad cover 100times easier.
