After reading the FAQ and searching throughout this site for information regarding the purchase of a widebody kit. l guess l can only assume that kits don’t exist….?
I have no problem getting started from scratch but to save time finding one to build off of would be great.
I have been following along with big poppa throughout his build and have noticed that he started with nothing and will end up with one of the saaaaweetest Cavfire / Jbody around. If scratch is the starting gate then l better get moving however if there is something l can build of off l can’t find it.
Any links or info would be greatly appreciated.
check ebay. every once and a while one pops up on there.
ya...once in a while u can find a kit on ebay, but for the most part, they dont exist anymore.
you could also try talking to orlandomon. i think he still has one he made a mold of. it wasnt finished, but its something to start with.
i myself chose to get a kit from a different car
and make it fit

Yea I still have a kit. someone take it lol. the one im selling is actually completed. it's the one I originally bought.but i only used it to make a mold for my kit, it has never been installed or anything.

yes there are kits kicking around somewhere.
with a widebody there is alot of body work that is needed...so you can get a kit from another car even and mold that on too if you wish.
or you can build your own. takes a damn long time, but you can do as you wish when you start making it.
ok apparently there will be some fat J's this year. Good luck with the project Im also looking for the same thing (not for my car) If I find one or we get one made I'll let ya know also

i know of at least 2 that nobody probably knows about that would make at least 7 I think im gonna put mine on a diet
nobody locally has a wide body J yet. So at least were staying thin over here in Northern Ky. lol

Hey if i had a garage and wouldnt have changed my mind 15 times my widebody woulda been done last year,from what i know me and joey baggs are the only ones in the wny area and well both have the best......

check out ebay seller___ tiaxoxo he makes them cost 350 unshipped or his web at www.dm-autoworks.com you get two front and two rear peices and mold them on they look great.
theres already a chop top cavalier, search to find it on here. that thing is one sick car
