all kits are different and some people need to modify one and the others dont. urethane usually fits pretty well but sometimes again some people have problems that need to be ironed out. if you buy a cheap kit usually you'll run into these problems more often. urethane kits are about twice as fiberglass kits because of their fitment and their durable. i spent over 700 bucks after shipping for my fiberglass kit but it fit very well. little modification was needed.

if you want a kit, you will probably have to do a little modification unless you get the razzi kit which would probably be your best bet if you dont want to try and tweak a kit.

rksport lip kit fits very nice, I've got it on my 05 cavy now. just had to drill the holes and bolt it up.

You get what you pay for (most of the time)... cheap eBay kit = bad fitment.

Price sometimes equals quality

Razzi hands down
I think I've only ever heard once about a razzi kit not fitting perfectly and I don't think that person knew what they were doing.

Wings West kits are supposed to fit well.

How does the Type-J kit fit?

Hey heads up on wings west... I heard that there wings are just put on with double sided tape so i'm not shure if the body kits are the same or not

I have a wingswest front and it is definitly not 2 sided tape. I dunno if WW makes anything for the 03 and ups, but the quality is top notch. The urethane is rediculously thick. Fitment was also really good. I've heard really good things about rk sport, so check into that also.

if you want good fitment, stay the hell away from the drift kit, the front was the only piece that even came close to fitting perfect, i had to cut the hell out of the skirts to make them fit and the rear bumper had to have a custom bracket made and holes drilled, not to mention the fact that it was warped really bad.

^^ well it sometimes depends on where you got it. the drift rear is known to sag no matter where you get it from. just like the type j rear is known to have waves in it

Versus Motorsport makes a line of P.U.R.E. urethane kits. I bought a urethane drift kit from them for 1000 dollars shipped and me and my homie had all 4 pieces on in less than an hour with a 12 volt and some self tappers. Fits like a glove, no sags, i dont think that gm couldve made 1 better than this...

I have the GMX (TRD replica) kit from Gravana... and it's the best fitting fibreglass kit I've ever seen!! No fitment issues at all... no trimming or anything, it fit 100% when I put it on the car. I've never had that kind of luck with any other fibreglass kit.
