I love carbon fiber, but i would say no to a wing on a cf trunk; if you had the oem metal lid i would say hell yes to a cf wing...

I think it could look good, look into the SS cobalt CF spoiler, i think its on RK's website. I say go for the cf front and rear look.

if they made a stock looking carbon fiber spoiler i'd say go for it, otherwise no...
people have done it, Skilz has the c/f prostock on his c/f trunk and ive seen couple more
but look at it like this, u BETTER make sure u like the wing, because once u drill the holes uve ruined the trunk if u take off the wing, cuz the only way to fix it would be fiberglass, then u have to paint that area.. So if u decide o i dont like it, ur either stuck with holes in ur trunk, filled with it painted in a certain area or whole thing, or buying a new trunk and praying u can find someone interested in a c/f trunk with wing on it..

Honestly Manta l do respect your views and l have before in other threads as well as you thoughts here. To have you as a fan is a bonus and thank's for your reply.
I am having a terrible time locating a wing l would even consider putting on my car......At this time a wing will not be happening.....Not because l'm worried about drilling into the Fiber ( if l didn't like l would by another trunk) but simply because there's nothing out there l like.

A wing would destroy the look of his car...? Oh please. You people are way too uptight about this wing issue. God forbid they don't increase performance for our FWD cars and everyone doesn't approve of them. If he likes the look of them, then he does. How the hell a spoiler would "destroy" his car is beyond me.
^because it is my opinion, as in everyone will have one. Believe it or not but these cars have a certain style to them that i like. now of course it may be different for others. But i like seeing a J as smooth as zspot's is right now. To me a wing, while following down the lines,edges, and shape of a J would be ruined with a "wall" on the trunklid. Be like driving on a hillside then WHAM someone buts a brickwall in your path, its a stop in the "flow" of the car's styling. But as my post was, this is my personal preference and opinion, i wasnt saying he CAN'T do it, i simply said please dont, i think it would "destroy" the look of the car it has going which is a nice clean flow with aggressive styling. You make it sound like everytime i see a car with a wing i think its stupid, @!#$ no. Ive seen some cars i absolutly LOVE and they might have a wing on their car i'd never put on mine. You get way uptight about other people's opinions as i've noticed in alot of posts of yours, and as you might not understand my opinions, i have no clue why in the hell u like to argue someone's opinion everytime it seems to not agree with you. I argue opinions cause people on this board are way too uptight about everything. If it has a spoiler, if someone has altezzas, if someone likes neons, etc. It gets dumb after a while. I don't understand how the image of a car can be destroyed by a spoiler, but thats your opinion. I express my opinion just as much as everyone else, and one thing I know from being here for a while, is that everyone has an opinion, and everyone has different tastes for cars. Some people's are accepted, others aren't. I just said it gets stupid how much people bash spoilers around here. Even if the guy got a spoiler, it wouldn't offset his car that much to "destroy" the image.

its not that everyone is up tight about it, its that no one makes any good wings for js. the only good wing imo is the black widow wing and that isnt made for a cav. to put a wing on his car, i think it would not flow as nicely as it does now. then again i guess im too up tight because of my opinion
