ok guys here's the problem I am having i went and did a conversion from my 96 to an 03 front end and when i did the headlight swap I am getting problems with the wiring first off I do have my haynes manual that has the wiring diagram in the back and I have also read the post for the front end swaps but I am still having problems with the wiring and the main problem is that i keep blowing the headlight fuse on the driverside and also I have no drl's which really doesn't matter if i have them or not but i Dont have my night time low beam it basically is my drl beam but i can turn my highs on and have regular beam. I can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong but if anyone has done this swap or can help me get in contact with someone who has done the swap it would be muchly appreciated

when i did my conversion, (over 1 year and a half ago, when I still had cavalier headlights ) I simply wired the 03 headlight to the regular beam on the 97. Then again, I live in the city, so I never need my high lights........ I couldnt figure it out either..

By the way is sounds you still have your DRL's....YOu need to get rid of that if you want. ANd for the fusing blowing is sounds like a wire is done wrong.

well see thats the thing I can't figure out cause it will do it every now and again not constantly
