i did the search thing and came up with nothing and i even read the how to. i'm swapping my o3+ sunfire front end to a 95-99 sunfire front end. i have the older fire headlights wired in and they work just fine. i just got the older fire hood today and bolted on. the only problem i am facing is the huge gap in between the hood and the head lights. question.....do i need to get the hood latch off of the older fire donor car? just from looking at it, it seems the hood latch for the 03+ sunfire might be a bit taller than the older sunfires. by the way...03+ sunfire hood and fenders up for sale in a few months.

the 03-05's latch that is connected to the hood is longer than the older style.....i did the same thing when i went from 03-02 front. worst part is it never even dawned on me it was the latch. i tried re-drilling the latch mechanism lower, then i went to the junk yard and got an older style thinking it had to be that. never would have thought they changed the latch, lol

Yep, you just need the 95-02 catch bar that bolts to the hood.
