I know theres a topic about Turtle wax's ICE liquid wax on here already. I didnt want to thread jack, So I thought it better to start a new thread.
Has anyone used the ICE liquid claybar? I saw it on their website when I was looking at the wax, which I read about and decided it might not be worth using (getting meguiars as usual).
Im looking to claybar the car, and If i can do it as effectively as traditionally done with this new ICE stuff then Id give it a shot. But I dont want to get it before hearing if its been used and what the results were. Im guessing its one of those cheap fast non-long-lasting things.
Anyone used it yet?
thanks!
the ICE series is a good product and lasts. i use the wax and other sprays. never thought to get the claybar but now it's on my list of things to get. i think it does so much for the car and is worth it.
IMO, i'd hit it.

Maybe Ill give it a shot, its about even now: the arguments for use it and dont use it.
Ill check the price differences between the meguiars and the arsonal I was going to use, and the ICE line and see what comes out better, if its not too expensive maybe Ill give it a shot, its not like itll hurt anything.
I guess im on the cusp untill i get to the store after work tonite.
i have a bottle of the liquid ice claybar for about a month now just havnet gotten aroudnt to trying it out yet...
Through my general expieriance of detailing cars, I haven't really had much luck with the liquid "clay bars". They don't seem to work as effective and don't give me the same results as using a typical claybar. I've seen the Liquid ICE wax used before and it turned out pretty nice, but I haven't seen their claybar product yet. So I have my ears open, lol.
I always use Mothers clay bar, i love all there California Gold stuff.
I would think that this could be used as a once a month follow up in between a actual clay bar treatment.

same here.
Im skeptical though because there isnt actually any clay involves. I've used the Mothers claybar with great success. But the ICE claybar is just a fancy liquid with an applicator. There's no real bar of clay like with mothers.
yah the bar or clay is there to acually pull particles off the paint that are embedded in it..so liduid clay bar isnt going to do as well as the real thing..but fr most sunday afternooners im sure it would be fine..

your right, most people wont need an actual clay bar, the clearer waxes, or pre wax cleaners stuff will work fine, but thats preaty much what this is.... except the oter companies don't try to claim it as a clay bar.
