I was wondering what you guys use to get rid of waterspots on paint and windows? They drive me nuts!
Also, with carbon fiber what do i have to do to get rid of hazing?
I have a VIS C/F invader hood!
2004 Turbo cavalier 11PSI and blown!
um i dry my car after i wash it.. bought "The Absorber" at auto zone and it works great. then if i find any spots ill take the absorber slightly damp and wipe em off. i know on windows i usually just used some "Perfect Glass" window cleaner i have and a old white cotton tee-shirt to wash my windows..outside anyway, inside just some water and the tee cuz i have tint. As for ur c/f hood maybe use some qwik detailer on it with a microfiber cloth after u wash ur car? i wouldnt think it would be a ahrd thing to get rid of water spots.. just dont let them sit there forever..
o, and for hazing.. that usually happens with the UV coat.. thats why most get their hoods wetsanded and cleared.

the absorber and zorb-it are the 2 i would highly recomend. my step dad is the head of the recon./detailing department at a dealership up here and they swear by those 2 synthetic cloths. the "natural" leather chamois are crap. just get an absorber or zorb-it chamois and dry the car after washing. keep it stored in its little plastic canister slightly damp.
On the other hand....you have other fingers.
