cut a whole in the bumper and put it on tracks or drawer slides so it can slide away. you can have it either work by electronic actuator or simply a pull cord or wire.

personally, i dont see the point of this on a street driven car, as you need to have your plate showing. dont even try to tell me its for shows, because using a screwdriver to remove your plate is not very hard at all.

so they can see you dont have a plate or temp sticker and pull you over or follow you as soon as you leave? thats just causeing you more greif then actually leaving it there. sounds to me like you didn't think this thru at all and sounds like you give them alot of reason to be followed....

So why are all the cops looking your way? Why are you trying to hide your plate number? Why are you worried about getting caught, if you do nothing wrong?

If your parked in a lot with no visible tags, you WILL get a ticket! No if's and's or but's! ILLEGAL

Not to further bash, but as stated, you're only asking for more trouble by doing this, let it go I say. And I thought I was being unreasonable for being mad at getting pulled over for for speeding >.>

Too much work for alot of legalalize headache, not worth it friend. And I X2 on the screwdriver at shows. Much cheaper, and no wiring involved. Just remember to put the plate back when you drive home.

Maybe they look at your car not because they want to ticket you but because it is hooked up.

look up a company called AVS, they make one that slides, whereas the autoloc one flips 90 degrees.
