as i get home i noticed that my front lip is partially hanging off because some tabs are broken... i know i didnt hit anything and there's not any extra damage on the bottom of it so i think someone tried to rip it off... any ideas of wut i should do to reattach it without lookin ghetto rigged? without the tabs its hard to make it stay on there tight so im lost....
screws in the little holes on the underside
I made some clips out of plastic like this............
i dont need clips. the tab that holds the clips are broken. (most of them)

... I think you fail to realize that A) it was made for a cavalier, and B) it was made by a GM employee on salary

Personally, I think I like the look without the lip... imo the 4th series cavys had the best front lip

just get some screws like every one said.. its holds fine, i broke and sanded the tabs off and used screws...
had it on for 2 months now and hasnt given me any problems
i still have 9 out of 12 tabs so ill sand those down and put the screws in the holes that are already there.... im afraid to take them all off tho, because i fabbed up the rear lip with my stock bumper and lining it up was a bia!! in the end i do want the W-type, but next im lookin at the rksport lip...
i didnt mean for you to sand down yours, i was just saying i had to because 04 J's dont have holes for the z24 lip.
but yea, keep you tabs that way its already lines up and throw some screws on that thing should hold nicely
oops... i typed it wrong.. im not gonna sand them all.. just the ones that were broken or cut off in the "attempted" theft.. im glad u mentioned cuz its kinda hard to get em to sit stil with the chipped pieces on there, so im glad u suggested that
PL THE LIP ON... THATS ALL I DID WITH MY LIP
penis lube. ky jelly works great for attaching things. j/p but if you dont feel like putting it back on hit me up and ill buy it
if you sand off all of them, good luck on getting a solid connection on there. what i suggest is you sand off the broken clips, use some screws in the middle four holes, and use some liquid nails on the underside of the bumper in the crease to hold it together (you're going to have to tape it together while the glue dries).

thats sucks dude, if u left it in front of your house put a camera on it and catch they dumbass who did that to your car. the lip looks good you should put it back on w/ screws.
same happend to me but i hit a curb haha.....i just drilled in the center where there is the little holes on the lip IIRC. and then the side tabs i stuck in and used some emblem glue and a few small nails pushed threw the broke tabs. 2 sided tape also helped mine a little bit in a few places and you could only see it if you were on the ground looking straight ahead.
Thanx Charles
i have a 2000 with no slots.... so i sanded all the tabs... big mistake...
i used all the holes in the middle, and made a few more where i could... and i fashioned two brackets to hold the sides up... still sits a little off... but you have to be looking from directly under the car to see the brackets...
