You'll need a transparent orange/amber paint. I used Duplicolor Metalcast on mine. You can find it at most auto parts stores.

Yeah man i did mine came out great, make sure that clear them though after you paint it or they will fade, and relatively fast at that, because that duplicolor metalcast paint isn't necesarilly ment to go on plastic, but is sure does make it look cool.

I prefer the clear corners over these, but those look very nice as well.

I did pretty much the same thing. Sanded them with 1000 (you can use 800 if you like) then sprayed a few coats of Metalcast paint. Once that dried, I wet sanded with 1000 then layed a coat or two of clear.
If you use Metalcast it will not be transparent when you first spray it, but as it dries it will loose it's haziness and be transparent again. Once it is transparent you can watersand them with 1000 and clear them. I use about 3 good coats of Metalcast on corner lamps.

Ok I was just making sure.

Here are some of the things I have tinted using Metalcast:
00-02 Corners (Orange Metalcast)

Sunfire euro side markers (Orange Metalcast)

95-99 Turn signal/park light assemblies ((round ones in bumper) Smoke Metalcast)

Not to thread jack, but will this same process work for tinting the reverse lights on Cavalier inner taillights red? Does MetalCast come in red? What clear coat did you use?

Thanks in advance.

Yes it does come in red and should work for tinting the reverse lights. I can't remember what kind of clear I used for them. Think I used Krylon crystal clear on the side marker lights. Oh and now you see what I did with the side markers I bought from you Carrie lol.

Awesome! I definitely need to try that with the reverse lights since I'm keeping the Sunfire Sedan rear bumper and I don't need 4 reverse lights .

Yes, the side markers look really good like that. Always good to see something different . I want to see more pics of your car...
