I need a how-to with pics and everything so i can do a flip flop trunk on my 95 cavy.. by doing it with stuff i can get from a hardware store... if someone could reply asap i would greatly appreciate it thank you.
dont do it. to me it looks dumb, alot of people have problems with it leaking, the trunk rattles more and the majority of the people go back to stock anyway

It definitely seems to be more of a hassle than it's worth.
if you put some engineering into it, it will prevent any of the above problems(excluding totally over done) at freak show this year i saw a celica that took the idea, and re engineered it. custom brackets, that allowed the hood to flop, but when he put the 2 bolts back in his new bracket, everything pulled tight, and looked stock(fitting). and looked sturdier than the stock hinges.
