there are some nice ones on ebay

not to thread jack, but which would be better, spend $160 for the ones on ebay, or take apart the stock ones i have and paint them? i remember posts before on how to do it, and i did a quick search and didn't find it.....so i would like opinions on how easy it is to do yourself, and if its worth doing it yourself or just spending the money and buying the ones on ebay.

also, if someone has the link to the how to thread, that would be great, thanks

The headlights are super easy, take out the headlights cut the seal between the lense and the housing with a razor blade, pull the lense off, tape and paint. Reapply lense with a small bead of silicone around to seal and your done. I don't think you can take the corners apart though, not sure.

I have a Q. the vht nightshades says it is for taillights turnsignles and corner lights. but i want to do all my lenses smoked so will it block out a lot of light for my headlights? if so is there another product anyone would suggest?

The more you spray the darker the tint gets

i know that. but the thing is im wondering how much light output i would have after smoking them to about 34 or maybe 20% would it make my lights really dim.

Don't tint your headlights. BAD idea.... You will severely reduce your headlight output no matter what the darkness of VHT and most likely get pulled over by a cop for doing it. If you want to black out your headlights, take them apart and paint the interiors with a high temp resistant black paint or purchase a set of "black housing" headlights on ebay like already suggested above.
