well a guy sold me a 00-02 hood for a cavalier. and i got a pontiac sunfire. and im screwed. and since im buyin new fenders and a drift bumper. its gonna cost about the same as if i bought sunfire fenders and bumper. So i guess wat i am asking is how do u do a complete front in swap on a 02 ponitac sunfire to make the cavalier 00-02 extrator hood fit right on a 02 pontiac sunfire.... thx

Always read the stickies, especially in the section you're posting in...
But to answer your question, You'll need 00-02 Cavalier Headlights/Corners, along with 00-02 Cavalier fenders(95-99 requires cutting the corner light bracket off) and an 00-02 Cavalier bumper. You could modify the hood to fit the Sunfire headlights but that would require a good amount of proficiency with fiberglass and usually isn't worth it.
The good part is 95-02 Sunfires use 9007 headlight bulbs just like 00-05 Cavaliers, so the headlights should be plug and play and you could reroute the turn signals in the bumper to the corners.
and can i use any year with that hood? its for a 00-02. do i have to use a 00-02 fenders and bumper and headlights and corner lights?

Well 95-02 Cavalier hoods are interchangeable so you could switch to a 95-99 Cavalier front end but then you'd have to switch from 9007 to 9006/9005. It's still an option though.
so.....how did you get screwed? did you buy the cav hood thinking it would fit with the rest of the sunfire?
well the guy made it look like it was for a pontiac sunfire... only having sunfire pics... no cav pics. and not saying wat it was for. and i thought it was for a sunfire. and he want give me my money back/ but i know now. not to buy somethin on here unless i know for sure it is wat it is. so i gotta work with wat im givin i gues or go shove that hood up his ass. but im tryin to play it friendly. for now...

sorry bud, but he made no claims to the hood being for a sunfire. in fact, the only thing that had anything to do with a sunfire was the battery cover. everything else was cavalier-only or, like the mirrors and engine parts, for both.
it sounds like you got a good deal on a brand new hood that you cant use because you didnt do your homework on what you were buying. caveat emptor

Yeah I was just about to say that I had made a post in that thread stating that the hood was for a Cavalier, and had you actually done your homework you would have seen that RK Sport never made an extractor style hood for Sunfires.. PPL here really need to learn to read.
Travis is a good kid and has owned his own business/website since he was pretty young. He has a good head on his shoulders and I'd be shocked if he knowingly tried to screw over someone on this forum.
