well my front LS sport lip cant even stay on my car anymore its so damaged it was bad when i got it but now its even worse, there are many broken tabs on it and i think the time has come to do something about it. Now ive never done any kind of body work at all the lip also has a crack right in the middle does anyone have any ideas on how to fix the broken tabs? maybe cut some new ones out of sheet plastic and try to melt them on? and what about the crack would i just sand the whole thing down and fiberglass around it? and re sand it down again? ive done some fiberglass work with car audio before but will the matt and resin stick to the sanded down abs plastic of the lip? any help would be appreciated
i donno about in the states but here in canada u can buy a tab repair stuff in a tube and fold it over the broken tab and then drill it out!! it like hardens in 20 seconds!! and get's really warm not sure if it's called "tab repair" or not it's like a cocking gun tube, and is white
