z24 trim

i am thinking of removing all the z24 trim from my car, like the mouldings on the side, and the bow tie from the hood, and the lettering from the trunck, whats the easiest way. i think i remember something about a paint peeling gun and fish line, im not to worried right now if there is glue residue left over. im kinda in the process of fixing it up a little, so if it looks all busted up for a while, no big worries, any help anyone has is always greatly appreciated on here. thanx in advance

What are you doing with said trim when you are done?

depending what year, it should be held on by 2 sided tape.. and an easy way to get the emblems and side moldings off is a heat gun / blow dryer and just pull em off. the residue is easy to get off i just used goo gone and rubbed it off with my finger

just use fishing line. 'floss' the emblems and moldings in-between the body and the said stuck on item. peels them right off, real easy.

then just get some 3m adhesive remover and roll it off with your fingers and a soft towel. done.
