There aren't any as far as I know. I would love to get some. I am not experienced with headlight fab though. It would be awesome to do a GP or something

Yeah I'm almost sure the only ones I have seen are custom

You are correct E

You can only get them custom made by someone who knows what they are doing or try it yourself!

there are tons of threads on here of people doing retro fits

try it out

Can't fabricate your own brake kit... can't make your own headlights...

Is there anything that you CAN do to your car that isn't spoon fed to you off the sweat of somebody elses back?

Just curious.

Custom turbo kit and full engine build.

These forums wouldn't exist if everyone did their own work. Get a life.

These forums exist BECAUSE people do their own work, kid.

Good for you, you bolted up a bunch of parts that you bought.

I'm not going to give you the time of day. If you want to come on here and insult people then good for you. I don't need to prove myself to you.

Stick to the topic of the forum.

Here's the answer to the topic.

There is no easy way out. If you have the time, patience, money and skill to make your OWN set, then that's what you have to do.

Otherwise you have to find a used set that somebody else half-assedly put together. There aren't many well put-together j-body retrofits out there. And the ones that are done well are in the $400 - $500 range resale because of the time and work and parts involved.

Good luck.

There is also a group purchase going on called "Retro-Solutions lifetime warranty HID kits, projector kits, and custom headlights."
It is a good choice if you are not willing to fabricate your own.

He is right, if everyone went had a garage do all their work there wouldnt be a need for the forum. But sence we all love working on our own cars and adding our own special "touch" we have the JBO.

Yes for John Benham to build you a set.

John will do fantastic work but really... it's not "that" hard to do it. You just have to get a spare set of headlights and good projectors, work up the courage, and take a dremel to them and start fitting.

Be thankful your stock headlights have clear lenses. Try starting with 95-99 sunfire. Total screw-fest.

I can imagine. I don't have the fear of opening them up or anything like that. I more wanted to get them fabbed for me so that I didn't have to worry about the correct alignment of the projectors. I know I will still have to aim the headlights a bit, but it takes off the huge stress of laser aligning the projectors.

Careful and repeated trial and error alignment of some types of things just drives me insane. Thats also part of the reason (other than I don't have the proper tools) that I want that brake bracket machine shop made.

Unless you own a plasma torch or laser cutter, you won't be able to cut into the hardened steel you'll want to be using for the plates.

Been there done that.

Also - nobody laser aligns projectors. All done by eye on a donor car or the car they're being installed on. Bear in mind, if they are installed properly with aiming screws, the end user does the final aiming - but it's dead easy with screws.

Yeah for sure. My reasoning exactlyt If i lived anywhere near viper i would be at his house with my car ripped apart trying to fit the rear bracket.

Oh I must have read that somewhere (about the laser leveling). It doesn't sound like it is too bad to do it on my own, but I have never done projectors before. Either way, knowing me they would be much less aesthetically pleasing if I did the fab for the headlights. I did custom tail lights on my 72 chev shortbox and it took me about 5 times to get it the way i wanted. Just a headache I would rather pay to get rid of.
