ok so I'm redoing my headlights again and wanted to clean up around it since there is still some old silicone left from the original seal. is there any easier way to get this crap off? so far I'm just pulling off what I can and also heating up an razor blade.but this is getting annoying. any suggestions? thanks

What you can do is go to an arts & crafts store and look for a cheap set of "rubber carving tools". The tools come with "V" & "U" shaped blades and they are small enough to get into most of the little grooves around the light, while cutting all left over sealant. Works VERY well.
Let me know if you need anything made for your project, lenses etc.....

thanks man. i completely forgot about those blades. i remember them from art class now haha. ill have to go pick some up. as for my project. well i have the one piece projectors. only thing im doing is shaving some parts really then clean up the lens better and be done. i thought about replacing the cheap projectors that came with it with some better ones but at the moment i probably wont unless i come across a good deal
