Guy had 2 6 inch hella 500ff driving lights mounted on his bumper...kinda like the WRX and other rally cars have them.Anyone know his user name?
I have 2 that were mounted on my truck,but they were on a steal bumper,so they didn't move at all.
I mounted them up on my z24 bumper in the holes where the front plate goes,but it's less than solid.
I wanna mount these lights up cause i have them laying before buying new ones.
shouldnt this be in the exterior forum? You'd have better luck getting answers there.
Cavcruisin or something like that. Im too lazy to find out for sure.
I don't have a Sunfire lol but these should help...
I fiberglassed a piece of scrap I had lying around underneath, then bolted the lights on...

I had em where the filler plate goes on the z bumper...but they wobbled way to much,so i put em on top,was thinking about mounting them through the crush guard.
A bracket like the one he has would be the tits.
a light bar would be the best way to mount them... mounted to plastic will allow them to wobble
i used 1" square stock bolted to the bumper beam for the bar on my wrx.
I was thinking about going to the loacal 4x4 fab shop and getting them to fab up a bar that i can bolt up somewhere...
I wish i could find a pre made bar like the WRX has.
Fab up a bar? The link Jon D posted thoroughly explains how to do it but basically its a bar attached to the steel bumper either by bolting or welding it on
4" PIAAs but I do have some 7" Hellas as well.
