Yeah, black isn't the best color when it comes to showing the lines in a kit...luckily, after I buy this, I'll be repainting the car before it goes on

So uh.....I guess me telling you guys that there are like 4 toyota radiator covers, a bunch of caps, Trunk liners and carpets, '00 toyo tails for under 100 before shipping, on top of other countless parts, on ebay, right now, is a bad idea and I might get yelled at? And you can find them all really easy by searching toyota cavalier?

Seriously. It's posted on the internet, to be bought by people on the internet. Oh no, someone pointed something out that someone else might want. Tough @!#$. I don't get why you guys get all pissy especially when you already have the part being mentioned. Sounds a little childish IMO...

As someone trying to win an auction, people posting it all over the place would make me mad.

but if i were the person selling it, i'd be stoked because it drives the price up.

I understand completely. The key point here is, It's an online auction. It is designed so the people who want it keep bidding until the others have decided it's not worth it.

I don't post them, but I don't bitch about people posting them. If someone posted this and I was looking for one, sweet. If someone outbids me because they saw the same post, sweet. It's a @!#$ auction. That's kind of expected once you bid.

Parts being driven up over what they are worth? I'll break it down a little for you guys. It's MAYBE $10.00 worth of plastic. Hell, right out of the box it's already overpriced. I understand it's rare and having it makes you 1337 and @!#$, But it's just plastic. You are already paying too much.

I'm gonna go kick my dog now because there is a part that someone might outbid me on ebay.

:EDIT: Besides, the damn thing has 0 BIDS on it. So I REALLY see no point in bitching.

The fact it is, it is rare. they dont make it any more. its the best kit produced for the 03+. being as how most j-body people are so cheap and want stuff for free. they want to score it as cheap as humanly possible. thats how most j people are. the fact is if you dont see it, your loss. advertising it to everyone and driving the price up happens but doesnt have to. you dont find it yourself, your loss. if i was going after it, i wouldnt want anyone to know it was out there. especially since its one of the most sought after rears. front being the most wanted piece of the kit. Considering how few there are out there, the ones who have them are lucky to have them. ive been offered a lot of money to part my kit out, but having a full kit makes it that much better.

if you really want to break it down. there is about $10 of plastic on there, that ill give you. but paying too much for such a rare piece, its like paying for a rare baseball card, its over priced and not many out there. thats the point of the kit.

in your car there is about(random numbers for effect) $200 worth of glass, $100 worth of seat material, $500 worth of plastic, $500 worth of metal, $200 worth of rubber but yet i bet new it cost $10K, i bet you even paid more for it than its worth in materials... so paying more for a kit makes sense.

when i went to buy my kit, DTP texted me and told me one was on ebay. so i got home went to the buy it now and as i did, it was sold to another guy. i missed it by seconds, i come on here, and someone had posted it for sale and they won it. said they never would have found it had they not seen the post on the org. so yes it does suck. but i got lucky and the seller had multiple kits so i ended up getting SUPER lucky and spent less on it that someone would for a regular body kit.
