Rear convertible window repair

I noticed the top pulling away from the rear window the other day. Is there a way to re-stick it to the glass? It is only pulling away in an area about 5 inches long.

Thank you

I've seen some ingenious thing on the internet, like tying a rope between a suction cup and a rafter in your garage, while using an adhesive to reattach the glass to the plastic. Or opening the top to release pressure then using glue and clamping somehow.

Duct tape is probably easiest.

I let mine go too far, now its time for a new window and top.

Sig'less since '02!

linky Check this out, some have tried it and its worked, and if ur top is in good shape its a good spot to try, especially saves u from buying a new top. Goodluck!!

I used some windshield urethane, duct taped over it till it set. Worked great! Don't know how long till the rest lets go but it is fixed for now.

Thank you for the help,

Paul
