Who all is still making custom projectors or doing retrofits? I have been interested in a set for a while think its about time to jump on it. So I guess if anyone is still making them PM me. Also any one who has made them want to post some tips for a first timer.

they arent hard at all there is a sticky thread for painting the 00+ headlights, follow that and the projector itself will fit right into the bulb spot with minimal mods, so when the lense is off stick the projector in (comes with its own set of instructions) then seal the lense like the thread and good to go. here is the link for the retro fit projectors :

that is if your using the compact (no cut) style of bi-xenon projector as seen on retrofitsource.com or benhams group purchases. to do this with oem produced projectors requires alot of cutting and aiming to get things to work right. tons of trail and error to be done, plus if the projector units use single filiment bulbs you lose your high beam.

right, except for the single filament bulb part, the projector (if bi-xenon) has a movable cut-off shield that will retain the high beams. If you want help, parts, or whole headlights yellow cav, hit me up in an email and I can help you out, I can supply/do both types of retros discussed here.

^ this is the guy to talk to (his products are high quality/moderate price and damn near plugnplay). since i dont have "premium membership" i cant offer my services or advice with out the thread being deleted and me being banned, and before anyone crys. but its a rule, no advertising or offering products and service. i know, quit blowing smoke out of your asses.
