Soo I wana move my battery back into my trunk which is already setup to swap it back from when I was turbo, but now I have a shaved trunk and had a few thoughts..what if my battery were to die? Sounds stupid but what if this were to happen I wouldnt be able to get in my trunk being theres no keyhole, Id either have to climb in through the backseat or is there a way I can wire in something to be able to jump it? Ideas?
Are you talking about if you need to boost it?
In that case, you'll still have the big positive wire going from the alternator to that battery in the back, so you can still boost the car from under the hood by putting the positive booster cable on that and the negative on the engine or chassis somewhere.
Only consideration you'd have to make though is that boosting can sometimes draw a lot of current, so maybe a circuit breaker would be better than a fuse (at the battery)
In my vert there is a cable operated release that opens my trunk on the floor right under the left front of my seat. I would think you could probably make it work in a coupe if you found a donor vert in a yard somewhere.
What you could do is find a donor coupe with the trunk release button by the knee and wire up that cable to release it. I've never seen a Cavalier with the trunk release by the seat so I can't be 100% sure that would be a easy find at the junkers. Besides, the knee button looks a lot nicer than the bland seat trunk lever.
the manual cable release were mostly 98 and prior. And were omitted when keyless entry were added. Just really depends if you want a manual or electric popper.

Here is what I am in the process of...
Get yourself a set of remote terminal posts, like
these and mount somewhere under the car, and if you need to jump the car, you can just attach your jumper cables onto these. I'm looking at mounting mine in the trunk floor pan right next to my battery (mine is going on pass side, next the "vent" in the lower quarter panel.
Here is what Stefan has setup on his car. Everything is shaved, handles and all so he definitely needed a way to power the car if his battery were to die.
I think the plate mount is off a old caddy.
Do the above^ remote posts somewhere. any old car will have the flip down plate available. ill be putting remote posts somewhere when mine comes time...
those doing the rear battery, dont forget you'll need an external switch for turning battery power off for NHRA tracks...
lol ive run into this problem many times(wife leaving the headlights on). remote posts are the way to go, but if you dont have them. the easiest thing to do is remove the pull strap lock for the small section of the 60/40 split back seat, then you can get in the trunk through the back seat at any time and pull the internal release on the inside of the trunk latch. ive had to crawl my fat ass into that trunk so many time my i.q. has dropped to 60.

I like this method but I was curious what covers up the terminals when not in use to keep the license plate from just in case touching them shorting it out? Could use a piece of rubber, but I just see bare metal in the pic.
Remote post/s is best. However I had a similar problem with a buddy's car and ran jumpers to the starter.

If you look, the license plate is secured to a plastic flap that folds down. That plastic will keep the terminals from shorting out on the plate.
brad 3 things, one the terminals clearly have black rubber caps on them as to not to short out.2 the plate hinge is metal not plastic, 3 the button u speak of by the knee is not manual cable it is a electronic swicth. there for if the battery is dead that switch is to. 3 ways to do so, one stated is the remote post, two a cable pull somewhere, and 3 you can always run a remote lead of the starter and just attach to a ground and keep it all under the hood.

Cool. Though you might want to address the right person for #3.
