hey whats up, well i decided to put my car up for sale, im thinking of doing it on ebay..... heres the deal, i have tons tons of modifications to my car, air ride, widebody, custom paint, headlight tail light conversions, custom front and rear bumpers and side skirts, 18" Giovanna rims, racing seats, tvs, fiberglass, everything on the car has been touched. What im asking for... is how much you guys think its worth with all the modifications??? Im going to start the bid at the least i will take for it... which im thinking 5,000...... but what do you guys think it will sell for???...... and if it will sell or not??
heres the drawback, the engine has 145,000 miles, new transmission, runs absolutely perfect well maintaned.... and the engine bay looks very very clean.
HERE ARE PICS. OF MY CAR....
no way. it may be WORTH 3,000-5,000, but you can sell it for a lot more. You just have to be patient. If someone really wants it, I think you could net about 10,000 or so. Ebay would be the best way to go.

blue ace...you never know...although it may be booked at like 4k or whatever you know with the time and effort put into it and just the look of the car you can get a lot more then that for it...
i would say just put it up on ebay and let her fly...just make a reserve price so you dont get ripped to bad...

You are going to have trouble selling it.
First off anytime I see a modifed car driving down the road, I assume it has been beat on. Especially with mods such as intakes and exhaust and lowered. So theres you first drawback.
Secondly finding someone who wants a car with those mods will be hard to do to.
By the way I heard before expect to get about 20% of the price back for all the cash you spent on mods. So $5000 = $1000 that you can add to blue book value.

Sucks you are selling it man, especially after doing all that work to it recently.. but if you must sell it, try to get as much for it as you can..
I dont think you would have any problems selling it for a reasonable price. Even if it has been beat on alot the first thing I would do if I bought would be an engine swap. But likely the person who buys it from you will use it as a show car. I wouldnt sell it for less than 10K.
By the way VERY nice work.

its going to be hard. you know its not everyones taste so that right there is going to make it harder. even w/ all the mods, its going to be hard to sell. your going to have to find someone who wants a show car and not built it themselves. good luck w/ it, i think 5000 is a reasonable starting price for that car. you never know it could just keep going up
man your ride is sick but its going to be REALLY HARD To sell because just like the others said you are going to have to find someone who wants all of the things you have done to it. also in my personal opnion cars with neon/slimer green paint jobs dont sell well...everything on it is top noitch but if you want to get a bigger buying group i would post pics of it with/ without the window covers because someone may want it for a daily driver (neverknow)...but very nice..i would keep it

ohyeah, i think most people that trickout cars rather build them themselves rather than buy one already built. i know i would never buy an already tricked car

I dont think the main problem is that the car is already modded, i think that the mods hes done are very, "I love it, I hate it" But I say try for like 7gs and hold out till you find a person that loves it. There are plenty of people that want modded cars, you just have to find the right person willing to pay. Car shows might even be your best bet.
Check out my car....

dude why would you sell it? you just finished it? ive never understood that.....

^^^yeah its going to be harder to sell due to the outlandish styles on the car. prob the hardest sell will be with the headlights and window vents. but other than that, i think 5K is a great price for it. ive seen much crappier modded cars go for more.

i agree 100% with that statement. i feel the same way when looking at cars for sale. when i see a car with those mods, i ALWAYS think that some kid owned it who has been out racing it and doing stupid @!#$. thats why i will always buy a bone-stock car that i can build then race and destroy myself
your car is also an auto. so that could make it harder to sell to a racer.
but even so, if you did find someone that maybe had a new engine to drop into it or somthing, based on the other cavaliers i have seen for sale, i would estimate you can get 6,000$ -8,000$ for it.

thanks guys for the comments, i do agree with you all. My friend... just sold his car on ebay it was a 97 mitsuibishi eclipse, he had it turbo'd, body kit, racing seats, wheels, .... it was worth like 6 thousand, and he sold it for 12,500 on ebay. But like most people say my car would be one of the best cavaliers out their if i changed the headlights, well.... if u bought my car... for lets say 8grand... and did a headlight conversion then for like 9thousand u can have a number 1 j-body, if you get what im all sayin.... thanks for the comments
Holy Blind Spot Batman!!!
Oh well. I would say sell it and see what it gets too.
Why put all that time and money into it and then sell it right after you finish it. Id atleast take it to shows for a year and then sell it. Never understood why [people build cars and then sell them right after they finish them without taking credit at shows for what you did.
i wouldnt give a dollar to buy it just to set it on fire but thats just me.... other do like it. you might get 5000 if somone wnats a wild looking car to show

Chris Pauley aka wet nuts--- alright man ur right ur car kicks a$$, beat me at any car show id go to!!! my everyday cavalier has more mods than yours!
ACE unless your selling to afford something like a house , or repay a loan or something to that effect. Then ide say try to keep it. Its a very original and eye catching car , and youve put alot of time , money and effort into it.
KEEP IT !!
PS ( Yay , Flip's Back
)
New headlights or not, its still one of the best cavaliers i've ever seen... I would do what flip said and keep it for the show season at least. You put so much time and passion into the car.. at least enjoy it for the season and take home some awards for your hard work man.
Keep it for show and buy a daily driver.
>>>> SPONSERED BY: Cavalier Extreme <<<<
I think you might be able to get $4,000 forit... @!#$ for that price I'd consider buying it just to get some parts from it... air ride, tv's, ect..
that car was parted out and given to my sister.. i'm just here to spread joy nowadays

I think I have like $7.50 in my pocket right now. I'll give you$5.
some people get bored with their cars, to some the fun and enjoyement is on the building aspect of it.
as long as your not in a major hurry to sell it just stick it on ebay for a decent reserve price, that way you can get as much as u can for it. set it at say 10k, if you get bids up into the 8 or 9 k range u know to lower it a bit, if it goes over the 10k you get a good deal on it.
allot of people dont buy modded cars, but there are allot of kids out there with rich mommy and daddys who want to buy something because they'd have no clued how to build it.
