Help sending private message

I tried to PM a member and I get the message about adding an authors name. My name is already in the authors spot, what am I doing wrong?

Were you logged in at the time? If so, then that doesn't sound normal. Use the "Contact Us" link in the menu to the left to report it as a bug to Dave, and I'm sure he'll get back to you soon.

Yep, I was online, tried it twice and got the same thing. I already sent a message through the contact us link.

Here's what you do:

-Log in.
-Go into the Control Panel section
-Click on "Edit my forum options"
-In the "author" field enter username

Thats it, after that you should be good to go.
