Thanks everyone. He finally started replying today.
I'm out my money. He decided shipping was too expensive so kept my money and sent the part to the scrap yard. Guess he made double off me. Once for our deal and another on scrap value.
Course his story has changed. I'm sure he will jump in with his version sometime, then I'll have to post his emails to me agreeing to our deal. Then his new emails revising our deal in his favor.

Kenny bought a crankshaft off of me through ebay....he asked me if i had an engine block to go with it...i told him that i did ....he sent me 100 dollars via paypal for the block and 100 dollars for the crankshaft and i sent him the block along with the crankshaft the he also paid for....i told him however that i had the bottom cradle that goes over the crankshaft and that i would just "throw it in"....no extra charge....he wants 100 dollars back b/c he thinks that i screwed him....sounds to me like he wants 100 dollars back...i have never screwed anyone on this org or through ebay....look at my ebay feedback...i have always shipped what i was paid for....was i wrong for saying i would send something if they bought a block....yes....but legally, he never sent me any money for the cradle so i never sent him a cradle b/c i wasnt paying extra for shipping on it...there is the story....he also hasnt sent me an email until today for almost 3 months....

It's simple enough. Show everyone an email that I wrote agreeing to that fact. Half a block is pretty well worthless. Today you told me I got a great deal and should be happy either way. If it is so great honor our deal or cancel it. I'd be happy either way. I didn't want to go here, but you would not answer my emails to you regarding this matter. Yeah I waited 3 months since the last 6 or so emails you never answered. I got busy, then went to the shop and saw the 1/2 block and decided to try again more aggressivly.
Now you want to be revisionist regarding our dealings. Show me proof of this and I will appologize right here for everyone to see.

Is that not clear enough? This was not an ebay deal, if it had been I would have had protection. This was man to man and you did not honor your word. Nor did you answer your emails until today.
Just because you ended up unhappy with the transaction does not mean you should keep the money and the part both. Send a call tag for the block and refund my money or send the cradle. If you decided you needed more money due to unexectedly high shipping you should have responed to my querys regarding the short shipment. I would have offered up my UPS acct number to handle it. Offer is still open, ship the lower block half and I'll pay the UPS shipping fee.
Either way would resolve the issue.
Yes or no question. Did we agree that I would buy a block, both upper and lower halfs? Yes or No?
If no, show me that email and I'll, as I said appologize. Just prove me wrong is all I ask. Quote an email as I have. Earlier today you emailed me that you would have proof by tonight, I'm still waiting.

If you're going to sue him for something, at least spell it right. Its Defamation of Character, and no, you can't sue somebody for defamation of character over something somebody says on a free internet forum. Its the internet, not a newspaper or periodical, or other published material. A judge would laugh you out of court.
