If you're gonna do a swap, why not drop in the 3800? Is it that much more work to get it to work vs the 60* 3400? The 3400 doesn't have that much aftermarket support, vs the 3800 having a litteral ton.
Got Torque?

the 3400 is like the eco swap for use 3rd gen'ers
any chance the new paint will not be red? lmao. looks like some good plans.. colorado looks hot as is so im glad ur leaving it like that.
Make sure you do an intake job on that motor before putting it in....replace gaskets and stuff...hate to see you get it all in and have the intake gaskets leaking all over.
is that the engine your swapping with? Is that the 3400 from a Venture?

so I have to ask....how long will the car sit in primer this time?

itll still spiral into full primer...its just your trend.
But I have to ask, why a 3400, especially from a crap-ass Venture that was never taken care of? Why not go for the 3800 from an Impala or something, the engines are roughly the same size, are they not?
Sam
apparently you havent researched the 3800 swap...much much more in depth than a 3400. the 3800 is a 90* motor as opposed to the 3.1/3100/3400 60*. wiring, mounts tranny work...the works...the 3400 is almost a direct bolt in.
