i noticed, that it would be easy sometimes if you had a way to contact people from their reg, a way to pm more specificly. like instead of going though all their past posts and finding one. i hope there isnt one, and im just not seeing it....

if you're in their profile, copy their user name, go to your mail box (../members/YourUsername/messages/), click compose, paste their username into the "to:" field and send them a PM.
I tried this just last night and it did not work. It kept saying The user you are sending this message to does not exist.
I had to find an old pm and then reply to it.

are you sure you copied the username correctly? as long as you didn't have any spaces or other characters, it should have worked.

Gotta remember, there's a difference between username and forum name. For example, if you were messaging me, and you typed in Shifted in the to box, it would give you that error, because thats not my username. My username is alastor.
