I was at an intersection the other day and there was 2 other 2000 z24 at the intersection with mine. 1 red with a 50ish year old lady driving it and the other dark blue with a young girl driving (that made me feel dumb being the only guy driving one). Cavs are common around here but there aren't that many z's around. I thought it was a crazy coincidence.
Well, there's not too many Sunfire GT's around here, and there's only 1 other Red one like mine. The other two GT's are black and Purple, and there's a convertable GT around somewhere, but I haven't seen it lately. But, I do see a hell of a lot of J-Body cars, and their all driven by grandma's, blonde's, or used as beaters. But you'r right, there are very few GT's and Z24's, let alone tuners. At least that's how it is here.
There is a few other "tuner" one s around here but none that are done very nice. theres one newer sunfire with a kit, HUGE aluminum wing, 17s and no drop (looks stupid) owned by some college kid, and another Cav with 17s and its lowered but these two only came around last summer and I have had mine for 2.5 years and they both stare me down everytime I go past them.
heh... the black 95 Z24 i recently sold (rear disk conversion, stock Z wheels, dropped on pro kits, 5 speed, 2.4 swap from the 2.3 with the 2.3 HO man and tb, custom intake, header, cat, catback) was bought by some fat girl i work with... i was ashamed lol

x2... there's an older gentleman (around 50) that has a green GT vert down the street from me.
There's a lady in her late 30's that has a 95-99 Cav with some sort of lip kit... if I remember, I'll get a pic or 4.

was a 2000-02 cav that looked good (lowered, 18's, nice and clean) till the girl totalled it.
Other than that, not much else... just your usual kitted Hondas, etc.
There's a 96-98 Sunfire vert at my apartment complex and I have the only Sunfire GT vert that I've seen. Both cars are white and one day I ended up following him down the road while he had his top down. Two of his friends are sitting in the back waving some kind of screens in the air and I felt sad having to be behind him. Seeing as I'm the only GT vert I don't feel too bad since the other verts don't look like my car (thank god).

theres a few cavs around me but they pretty much all have horrible work done on them. one guy has a really nce audio setup. except that when you open the trunk i looks lie a rats nest of wires and the amp isnt mounted to anything. the only nice modified cars are the ones that hang out at the shop and there all trucks on bags.
i've seen several guys driving purple sunfires around here... and a few girls.
the is an A$$ load of j's around here. beaters, mostly. the one that are clean, are driven by senior citizens or by people who do nothing to them. my favorite one is a purple sunfire GT manual, driven by a older gentleman that lives accross the street from my in-laws. there is a handfull of "modified/tuner" j's around, all cavi's. purple cavi, sitting real low with primer from the door jams back. a white one on chrome wheels and a fart can, again sitting on the ground. i see another white from time to time with a black or C/F hood(oem) on black rims and a fart can. my old cavi, which looks like it was used a demolition derby. and my boy jeff's cavi. his is green, the only i can it's his is i can see the rear sway bar from the rear. i have yet to see a sunfire vert in my area! my car is probibly the most rarely seen j. i drive it like twice a month, and usualy from my house to my dad shop. and sometimes it sits in the shop for like 3wks at a time
