Not sure if this is in the right section I am thinking about making/selling parts made in carbon fiber I have a 2000 sunfire so all parts would be cast from my car. What parts would people be interested in having made, I want to find out what everyone would be interested in being made? I was thinking maybe the radio bezel or the piece that pops out from behind the door handle on the inside.
Not sure if this is the right place to post this I just want to get an idea of what people want. This won't be a group purchase or anything I plan on making the parts and I will sell them through ebay.

solid carbon fiber body. i'm talking fenders, hood, bumpers,door, rear quarters everything. that would be kick a$$. esp w/ a carbon fiber ram air hood, body kit and z3's

LOL umm I am talking more on interior pieces I could make an entire carbon body but I doubt many would buy it since it would cost so much to make. More small parts I am thinking about making a carbon fiber racing hood though not like the normal carbon hoods. I could probably do a carbon hood that would weight very little but would require hoodpins on the front and back of the hood, it would be very thin and light but look carbon sexy
you should make the hvac pieces with icons the door handles like izntrbl started to do and then the door inserts and of course this is all stuff that if you had it for sale id buy it becuase im looking for it all

where do u get carbon fiber for stuff like that at any way
how do you plan to cut the designs out? will you be using rare carbon fiber or carbon fiber thats already cleared?
if i were you, i'd make the pieces you want for your ride and make a few spare pieces other them and sell them on ebay. get some reputation for your product then start making other parts.

why not start out with a dash bezel....or i made this piece that turns your center vent into a guage pod....start out small.....i really want c/f door sills......glove box! seat belt covers....i love the idea of a c/f roof-make that with a small scoop in it!

Easy. A piece, even if it's plain plastic, that will go over the cracked dash that's against the windshield so I don't have to rip the whole damn thing out just to put in a new dash that will crack, too
I'd pay 50-100 for that easy.
