Well, looking at another car now, and I think I may have found the one. She's a 1999 2 door base, with a few things added. Here's a parts list:
-15' GT Rims Painted Bronze
-2 MTX Road Thunder Subs in a custom box, specificlly for Sunfire trunk
-Rockford 200M Monoblock amp for the subs
-Alpine 4-Channel amp for speakers (Stockers in the rear, Boston Up Front)
-Blaupunkt mp3 deck
-Vibrant Intake
-Full Catback 2 1/4
-B&M Shift Plus (Shes an Auto)
-Lowered, and KYB Adjustable 8 Position struts
-Evil Eyes Hood
-Painted mirrors body color
-Tinted
May be some more smaller items I'm forgetting....
Oil always changed, well maintained. 212,000 KM's.
I took it for a run, seemed solid enough, and I couldn't find a flaw with it. I could see that it was always well maintained, just had it in for a full touchup on the paint, so it looks good as new. Oil is clean. No shudder or shake when shifting (A little when on Position one with B&M @!#$plus, a little more when on Position 2). Handles excellent. What do you guys think? I've got him to 3250, and thats what I expect to pay. Hiopefully my search is finally over. Just would like to see what you guys think? Thanks
Sounds pretty high, especially for an 8-year old base with a ton of miles. A Sunfire that old would be way cheap around me.
That 212,000 Kilometers keep in mind
Yes, a high number, but the up-keep of this car is crazy, it's pretty well in perfect condition. Anyone else?
Meh... I drive a '99 GT & keep it in perfect shape, but seriously - for the price they sell around me, they're asking nearly double near you. AND that's for a base model. Guess it depends on the market.
There are so many car lots around here though. One on every street corner.
