I was coming back from going shopping and dropping a db meter at a friends house and this vr6 came up beside be and downshifted.. i did to.. we took off and i was winning and then we slowed down as it went from 2 lanes to 1 and he got in front of me... the cops were at a dq and then came after us and yelled the @!#$ out of us... told us to get out of the car as the speed limit was 25 and we were going atleast 75... they didnt get a clock though.. and my speedo is broken... i have learned my lesson with speeding as i did with spinning my tires last time... any way i can fight this??

They charged you with imprudent speed because they couldn't prove your actual speed, but you obviously were way over the limit. A cop doesn't need to prove this with a gun in court and will definately hold up. Pay the fine, stop street racing.

Im sure as long as there where cars on the road, there were guys who thought theirs was the fastest. If you ask me he didnt get what he deserved.
