Hello Fellow J-body owners. I have been thinking of selling/trading in my 97 Z-24. I love the car but I just dont
drive it anymore. So what do you guys/gals think is a good asking price.
1 owner car
67,000 Miles
Z3 Fenders
Interior is amazing and orginal
Original Z24 rims
Ground Coil Overs
The car no longer has the altezza tails. It has 2001 cavy tails on it.
Im also selling the chrome rims seperatly. - look at my profile for the tires on them.
Now what needs work:
The paint has some scatches and ware and tear
Some rust is developing on the driver side back quarter panel
I never had problems with it. Its not a show car and not trying to say it is. I thought of selling it or trading it in on something new. What do you think would be a good price to get. I've done KBB and they say about $1,500USD. So if you all can help that would be great.
I don't know what to do. The car has a special place in my heart cause I worked on it and loved it. It maybe better just to keep it. But thanks for the input.

You'd maybe get 2g's for it from a personal buyer, not sure if you'd get that if you traded it in on another car.. Your right its not bad looking, espcially with low miles. Good luck

that right there would make me not want to buy it. i would highly suggest removing the coilovers unless you plan on buying the right shocks.

Hey 24zeta. My friend is desperately looking for a new car. He's got hand-me-down Geo Prizm that has about 210k miles and is about to crap out on him.
Your profile says you are located in Chicago. We are both in Joliet, about 45minutes south of the city. He has a budget of about 3k for a car and everything we have seen so far hasn't been anywhere near as nice as your car from what I can see with such low miles. If you are willing to sell it please PM me about it. I'm sure I can get my friend to pay $2,000 for it so $500 about KBB value.

I will keep your friend in mind about selling the Z24. Trust me if I do plan on selling it your friend will have not problems with the car what so ever.
As for the stock shocks I had planned on getting rid of the GC's. I bought them way back when they first came out and put them on a new pair of stock shocks.
