Has anyone did a 2.4 swap to a cavalier sedan?
I'll assume we're talking third gen sedan. Depends which 2.4 you're referring to.
A 2.4L Twin Cam, aka LD9? They could be had stock. Cavalier LS for just about all years.. Z24 sedan in 2002.
A 2.4L Ecotec? No.. not that I know of. With the transmission, it's too big to fit in the third gen engine bay.

someone on here (cant remember who) did a eco with a 5 speed swap into a sedan.

their are others that swapped. mine already had a 5spd though.
my brother had a factory 96 LS 4 door had a 2.4 auto
02 Z24 5spd Swapped out for an 03 ecotec with 5spd. and other little odds and ends.
99 2.2 OHV auto swapping out for ecotec s/c'd 5 speed.
I found a sedan with an eco adn 5 speed already in it.

I always wanted a z and an 02 4door z24 wit 5spd's are hard to find. plus it was in my price range,.i didn't know about the eco when i bought it,
yeah yeah cody we know. Lets see if my fully loaded sedan will stand up to the sc cody mobile. Just makes it more intersting since you have a 5spd now.
